This one’s pretty laid back type anime, slow paced and no rushy (ofc since its a slice of life type anime).
One might make a mistake watching it, assuming it’s an Ecchi anime. And if you have watched Domestic Girlfriend, then sorry to disappoint you, but this one’s pretty different.
It’s more like two people who are very indifferent towards life end up as step-siblings. At least that’s the vibe you get after watching the first episode of Days with My Stepsister (aka. Gimai Seikatsu)

Hence, Yuuta and Saki agreed to keep a respectable distance from each other, not to be too close or too opposing. Both the characters have their own issues when it comes to living with a family. Saki, who has self-reliant behavior, and Yuuta, who’s confused as to how to properly connect with Saki. Amongst this, they are similar based on their mutual perspective towards each other.

Is Days with My Stepsister Worth Watching?
The answer lies in you. If you are a person who watches the anime regularly (not talking about binge-watching), then it’s a decent pick as it’s quite slow-paced, like life, and you might like the non-cliché plot of the character’s personality.

This anime is perfect for you if you dislike the stupid yelling of the characters when they are in an uncomfortable situation with each other.
Or, let’s say you are in a state of mind where you are pretty numb towards people in general. Then, you might actually relate to them. Their thoughts were very cold when it came to the marriage part. Though they are considerate and thankful to each other, but that’s more in the line of genuine responsibility & hospitality rather than anything else.
