Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 3 Review: With spoilers!

We were having a movie night in our office. For watching Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 3 Episode 1!!! One of our friend was soaking tissues wet, and one was to excited that he had to be tranquilized.

Let me tell you, we all had one thing in mind, #shinzou wo sasageyo 😢😭 (if you know, you know)

Now, let’s ding into the details, because AOT just dropped something that crashed the anime world. Here is a detailed discussion of the released stuff.

Here comes the emergence of beast!! (again, ifykyk)

Start of Attack on Titan S4 P3

Trust me when I say AOT got one of the best foreshadowing.

The Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 started with the childhood scene of Eren, where he was crying when Mikasa woke Eren. It was shown and it took only a moment to link it with the current scenario and suffering of Eren.

I know, a lot of us criticize Eren for his decisions, but let me tell you. It’s not easy to commit a mass genocide with a sane mind. The scene of two kids getting trampled by titans and the back story when the kid met Eren literally broke people to tears.

I won’t deny that I am sympathizing with Eren. He is kinda like Itachi from Naruto, but in an opposite way.

Uncertain Theory: Why was Ymir shown when those kids got crushed?

This was a complete mystery. Not sure what Mappa have planned for this. But it surely seems that it is some kinda foreshadowing for upcoming parts of Attack on Titan Season 4.

There is also this thought, that Ymir might stop helping Eren because he is killing Eldians (Subject of Ymir). We can’t say that for sure, because Attack on Titan Anime has strayed away from it’s Manga. And there is no going back now.

Romance while Rumbling

Yep. It was one of the warmest moments since Eren-Mikasa’s moment before Eren got rogue.

These two were being shipped for a while now. Armin + Annie!!

They had a nice talk and Armin conveyed his thoughts about why he was talking to Annie all this time. But then the conversation went all down the gutter.

The worst part: Annie Leonheart backed down from joining the Eren hunting party (oops, I mean Eren convincing party 😇)

Anyways, that’s how it was.

And then Floch showed up screwing everything!

We didn’t see that coming. But Floch planned to die and stop them from taking off in Azumabito (or whatever that’s called).

Floch ended up dead and the fuel tank got itself three holes from gunshots.

Things get delayed, and it takes them another hour to fix things that got screwed up.

Now, comes the interesting part.

Tears and Tears

Here’s where people cried. When Rumbling arrived, their airplane still needed some time to fix.

Guess who volunteered to die? Armin, Reiner, and bla bla.

In the end, it was Hange who turned the whole conversation by giving Armin the title of 15th Commander of Survey Corps.

And then, she went off to fight all those colossal titans.

For a sec I thought everything will be fine, but then she got burned by heat and died.

My colleague sitting nearby broke into tears – Levi didn’t.

The best part here was that Levi sent off Hange earlier by saying Shinzou wo Sasageyo, which he never says.

Hange’s sacrifice paid off and they were able to take off securely.

Post Hange’s death scene

We were not ready for this. I repeat, we were not.

I thought that Hange somehow survived, but then we saw Erwin. And we were like, DAMMMM!!!!

All the fallen comrades were watching from above.

Sinners and their fight

It was no longer, who was right or wrong. It was just a matter of ideals.

Anyways, they were trying to stop Eren from killing everyone, but Eren had plans. He called them mentally to that tree thing and Eren said, “You are free. You want to stop me, do it. But be prepared to die”. Not like this exactly, but something like this.

Jumping to the fight scene

Eren’s Attack Titan that got transformed into the big walking bone thing, was being bombarded by airships.

To tackle that, Eren created Beast Titan with War Hammer’s powers. That was next level.

When the plane carrying Levi, Mikasa, Reiner, and rest arrived, then the fun began.

One transformation after another, and the background song didn’t fail to elevate the moment.

The part ended with the fight scene, which left everyone speculating what was going to happen next. But our Aot fanbois need to wait for another 6 months for the next part of part 3.
